Pikay La Trek
Pikey peak entwines with the Chyabe across east to west. The name Pikey comes from the two titles of the Sherpas. During the month of July is a time of great celebration as the locals worship their clan god, the eastern Chyabo Pikey, as Pikey Hlapchen Karbu in the celebrations, which is the sacred site. The hill is most popular for its sunrise and sunset views and one can enjoy the glorious sight of the haughty peaks beyond Kathmandu valley to the plains along with the Himalayan range of Mt. Everest, Makalu and Annapurna, unique Sherpa culture, panoramic views and picturesque landscapes and many of the Buddhists monastery in Jhayalsa ( Rainbow land ) Chiwang, Junbesi, Chiwang and Japre as well as Loding Gompa.
This is area which is the famous for Biological Diversity.
